About this cartoon

In this slasher cartoon, a hulking masked defendant finally gets his day in court, and he looks awfully familiar. You may think you know him from a certain summer camp, but this is a different killer entirely, and his lawyer has found a new defense. Rather than fight the evidence, he asks the judge to stop calling his client a killing machine and start calling him socially challenged. The joke takes aim at the softened labels we reach for now, where the right euphemism can make even the scariest guy in the room sound like he only needs a few more friends. If you like horror icons in awkward situations, flip back to the priest who stopped an exorcism for a selfie.
